Bob Snyder brings more than 25 years of sports-related management, sales and promotion experience to both his Snyder Sports Audio consultancy which he opened in 2004 and his Online Consumer Show firm, Virtual FanFests, LLC which launched in August of 2011.

 

Bob was a radio station general manager in Washington, DC. Miami and Chicago including four years running that city's ESPNRadio 1000, WMVP. Bob was the station representative for the Chicago Bulls and White Sox along with having  responsibility for the station’s operating budget.

 

For six years while in Washington,D.C., Bob was the principal radio representative of the Washington Bullets, The Washington Capitals, The Washington Redskins and the 112 station Washington Redskins Radio Network while serving first as a sales manager and later as the VP/GM of WTEM Radio, Washington’s all-sports radio station. During portions of that time, Bob also hosted a weekly sports talk show and broadcast American University and University of Maryland Basketball games on ABC’s WMAL Radio.


In the late 90’s Bob founded and operated as the managing partner for the Miami Matadors Professional Hockey Club playing in the 32-team East Coast Hockey League. A Double-A Florida Panthers minor league affiliate, the team played in Miami Arena in the late 90’s and was sold after 2 years, becoming the Cincinnati Cyclones. On-ice highlights included 64 minutes of penalty time during the inaugural exhibition game at a small community rink...in the first period.

 

Bob's current consultancy, Snyder Sports Audio, Ltd, creates and implements new audio strategies for sports franchises. The firm currently consults for Arbitron Custom Sports Research, the National Hockey League, the Boston Bruins, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Minnesota Twins and the Los Angeles Kings. 

 

Virtual FanFests produces shows and conventions for online and mobile delivery. The firm will produce two major industry shows in 2012;  The 25th Anniversary of High Times Magazine's Annual Cannabis Festival from Amsterdam and the annual AVN Adult Entertainment Expo from the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Seriously.
